This remote position offers a unique payment structure, with editors earning a percentage from each book sale up to a maximum payout amount.

Faith in Print Publishing (FIP) is a publishing company set to launch in 2025, dedicated to showcasing meaningful and impactful stories. We believe in the power of storytelling to inspire, educate, and entertain readers worldwide.

Role Overview:
As an Editor at Faith in Print Publishing, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our publications. In addition to editing manuscripts, you will work closely with authors to refine their work and prepare it for publication. This role also involves overseeing our internship editors and contributing to the growth and success of our publishing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Edit manuscripts for grammar, style, and coherence – while staying true to the author’s voice
• Collaborate with authors to enhance the overall quality of their work
• Provide constructive feedback to authors and assist in the revision process
• Manage and mentor internship editors
• Maintain high editorial standards and ensure compliance with publishing guidelines

Compensation:
Editors will receive a percentage from each book sale, up to a maximum payout amount per project. Once the maximum amount is reached, the editor is considered paid in full for their editing services on that particular book.
