NEW EMAIL ADDRESS for Faith in Print: grace@faithinprintpublishing.com

This has been so hard ad I really didn’t mean to step away after I made the post in August 2024. There has just been so much and every new step that was supposed to improve things, seemed to take me only farther away from my goals.

I didn’t know what to do with this website. I had to put it in the back of my mind. And I did until it the yearly hosting payment came due late month. So many emotions and thoughts came back. Then I realize I still wasn’t certain what to do with this plat form.

Hallie had tried to create Faith in Print publishing since 2015 – and it’s never taken off. It didn’t matter how she advertised, what strategy she used; she’d get editors, but no submissions or no editors or others, but get in submissions.

I think the publishing company aspect of this has passed. It’s been almost 10 years and she didn’t make a dime – only continued to put money into it (that she really couldn’t afford).

Like Hallie, I know I can’t afford to put money into something that hasn’t made any in the last ten years, as much as I’d love to keep Hallie’s dream alive.

But…

I did renew the site for TWO years.

and…

Here’s what I CAN do (and I need your help)…

I can continue this blog. I can create things that you all would like to read and engage with.

BUT — I need to know what. Tell me and let’s keep Hallie’s dream at least somewhat alive.

I’d love direction on how to monetize as well. With that, we can continue to keep the lights on for the blog and create content Hallie would love.

What is that? I don’t know – maybe a penpal feature (she loved snail mail), maybe my sourdough journey and yours, maybe some simple sales of starter and other fun homemade items. Maybe some clean reads. I’d love to start writing again and hopefully by summer I’ll be in a better place with work and will have time.

Please — send your suggestions (comment, email, both) and please share, share, share this to help get the word out.

Interact: like posts, comment, and subscribe to the blog.

It all helps.

Here’s to the new journey ahead.
